Privacy policy
Information that we collect from you
When you contact us, visit or order products or services on the mobile application or otherwise you may be asked to provide certain information about yourself including your name, organisation, position, contact details and credit or debit card information. If you are seeking credit terms we may also seek references from you. We may also collect information about your usage of our website as well as information about you from messages you post to the website and e-mails or letters you send to us or telephone calls or other communications you have with us. To maintain customer service standards and to assist staff training, we may record and monitor incoming calls. If you place an order or supply us with information with respect to a service or product which we are producing in association with a third party such as (without limitation) a reader offer with a newspaper then the permissions you have granted to us as set out in this privacy policy shall be deemed to have also been granted to that third party.
Payment
When you are ready to make your payment you will be directed to the secure-payment site operated by our merchant service, stripe. Your payment-card details will be entered on stripe’s site, not directly to YR store. We do not store credit card details nor do we share customer details with any 3rd parties. On occasions, you may find during the payment process that you are asked for an additional security code through a pop-up box from ‘verified by visa’ or similar. As at that time you are on stripe’s site, not YR store and we cannot control nor predict whether or why this appears.
Your order and confirmation
Once you have successfully placed your order you will receive an email, confirming your order. This will show your order number, the product you have ordered, the price and the shipping name and address to which the order is to be delivered: please check this and email
[email protected]
(quoting your order number) if this is incorrect.
